Back in 2015 I wanted to make something that I could claim "My Own". Tukyo spawned from that idea as a small youtube channel making free music videos for small SoundCloud artists. Some of these artists "blew up" and I helped push the datamoshing trend, being one of the first Youtube channels to deploy this technique consistently in my videos. Some of the artists I worked with include Medasin • Future Girlfriend • Macross 82-99 • Nanidato and many more...
This evolved into creating my own music videos for songs that I released as "Tukyo". Long story short... Tukyo started as a free project to give back to the musicians I loved at the time. It has always been about learning and bettering myself, while bringing other artists up as well. Now, I create art in all forms, with my latest endeavor being writing open source code and game development.
I am an artist and so are you!
